Catholic Health is sponsoring a community dinner program, “A Different Angle on Hip Surgery: Anterior Hip Replacement,” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at Four Points by Sheraton, 7001 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls.
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kafai Lai, who specializes in anterior hip replacements, and physical therapist Kristin Barnard will discussion surgical and non-surgical treatment options for relieving hip pain. Dr. Lai will discuss the benefits of anterior hip replacement surgery, which include less pain, shorter hospital stays, fewer complications and quicker recovery times.
The program is open to the public. Catholic Health invites area residents to attend one free dinner program each year. Admission for each additional program is $20. Reservations are required by calling Catholic Health’s HealthConnection at 447-6205.
