The Days Inn at the Falls at 443 Main St., Niagara Falls, will be rebranded in March as the Wyndham Garden at Niagara Falls.
The announcement was made Friday by American Niagara Hospitality, the hotel group owned by the DiCienzo family, which controls several hotels on both sides of the international border.
Michael DiCienzo said the company has been working on a multimillion dollar upgrade of the eight-story, 188-room hotel, which will include a new restaurant, lounge and coffee bar. The plan also includes a renovated lobby, improvements for the swimming pool and remodeling on the building's exterior.
The rooms have been completely redecorated, and 16 premium suites have been installed, including four 600-square-foot "Diamond Sky Suites" on the top floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and steam rooms.
