Buffalo man shoveling snow robbed by gunman

A Buffalo man shoveling snow on Thursday night told police he was robbed by a man with a gun who threatened to shoot him, according to a city police report.

The robbery happened at about 7:45 p.m. on Hempstead Avenue in the Kenfield/Langfield Homes, according to the police report.

The victim told police he initially refused to hand over any belongings but the robber pulled out a small, black pistol and threatened to shoot him. The robber took the man's cellphone and ran towards Oakmont Avenue, the report said.
