Buffalo News sports columnists Bucky Gleason and Jerry Sullivan analyzed the Bills' hiring of Western New York native Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator during their weekly radio show Monday on 1270 The Fan.
"I thought that was an interesting hire," Gleason said. "His numbers as an offensive coordinator in the league are not good. He had two years in Cleveland, a year in Miami, and a year in Kansas City. But the quarterbacks that he had in those situations were atrocious. It starts with the quarterback. They need to bring a quarterback with him. They need to give this guy the tools to find out whether or not he is a creative and inventive offensive coordinator."
"He was very guarded when he was with the Patriots," Sullivan said. "I interviewed him at the Super Bowl more than 10 years ago and he looked scared to death that he would say something to offend the hooded dictator. I hope he's become a little more loose now."

Bucky & Sully also caught up with Reggie Witherspoon, whose Canisius basketball team is currently in first place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
