A Wyoming County man was arrested by state troopers Friday for driving while his ability was impaired, after troopers allegedly found marijuana in his vehicle, according to State Police.
Samuel M. Martin, 41, of the town of Warsaw, was stopped by troopers on Route 19 in Warsaw for an inadequate headlight, State Police said.
State Police said they detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the driver compartment of Martin's vehicle.
He was arrested after failing multiple field sobriety tests, State Police said. Martin was found to be in possession of marijuana, according to State Police.
Martin was taken to the State Police barracks in Warsaw for processing and issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket for Warsaw Town Court in March.
