Newly sworn-in Niagara Falls City Council member Chris Voccio plans a series of public meetings to get feedback from residents.
Dubbed “Coffee with Chris,” the meetings are tentatively scheduled for the third Thursday of each month. The first is slated for 8 a.m. Thursday at Marketside Restaurant, 712 East Market St., in the Falls’ City Market. Described as a “casual session,” Voccio will buy the coffee. No reservations are needed. Future sessions will be held at locations throughout the city.
Voccio, who retired as publisher of the Niagara Gazette in May after a 30 year career in the newspaper business, ran for City Council as a Republican, winning one of three open seats in the November election.
