GoFundMe drive set up by family of woman found dead after Buffalo fire

The family of a Buffalo woman found dead Thursday after a suspicious fire has set up an online fundraiser to help pay for her funeral expenses and her daughter's college education.

Elisabeth Bell was found dead after a suspicious fire on Manhattan Avenue that also critically injured her boyfriend. Police called the boyfriend, identified by sources as Frank Bredt, a "person of interest" in the investigation. Bell's 7-year-old daughter, Isabella, suffered burns to her feet. Fire investigators said the fire was intentionally set and materials suspected to be flammable accelerants were found at the scene.

Authorities said Friday they were awaiting autopsy results to determine what caused Bell's death. Bredt remained hospitalized at Erie County Medical Center.

Meanwhile, Bell's family set up a GoFundMe page with the goal of raising $20,000 – $5,000 for memorial services and $15,000 for a college fund for Isabella.
