An electronics recycling drop-off will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Feb. 3 at Parkdale Elementary School, 141 Girard Ave., East Aurora.
Nearly all devices that have a circuit board or a cord will be collected, including computers and computer accessories, printers, ink and toner cartridges, monitors, televisions, microwave ovens, copiers and fax machines, telephones, radios, video and audio equipment and most small appliances.
Items that will not be collected include refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and televisions and monitors with broken glass. A complete list of acceptable and non-acceptable items is available at www.sunnking.com.
“This is a great opportunity to get rid of old electronics that don’t work or are sitting around collecting dust,” said state Sen. Patrick M. Gallivan, R-Elma. “The drop off is free and we’ll have volunteers on hand to unload your vehicle as quickly as possible.”
