I had a somber announcement to make Wednesday on the "Tim Graham Show."
The announcement had to be delivered over 1270 Sports Radio The Fan's airwaves and in front of the whole crew. That was the only fair and transparent way to do it.
I announced that Wednesday would be Jerry Sullivan's final appearance on my show. This was my personal decision. It's about standards, about professional ethics and about behavior I cannot abide.
But I'll leave it at that because this isn't my story to tell. Jerry knows what he did.
And this is the last I'll speak of it.
Or so that's what I told Sully before revealing I was making a larger point, which was:
How is what I just wrote different than what Yannick Ngokoue did when he tweeted accusations of Richie Incognito saying racist things? Or Ally Sheedy's ominous and since-deleted tweets about James Franco and Christian Slater, for that matter?
Once Sully's heart rate settled down, co-host Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, local freelance author Lindsey D'Arcangelo and I discussed half-accusations being made in today's climate.
