Garbage pickup moved back one day in Buffalo

Garbage pickup will be delayed by one day this week in the city of Buffalo due to harsh weather conditions over the weekend.

Sanitation crews will resume picking up garbage in the Delaware and North districts today, after being forced to stop early due to the bitter cold temperatures on Saturday.

If you’re regularly scheduled garbage pickup day is Monday, crews will pick it up on Tuesday this week. Tuesday’s scheduled garbage pickup will be on Wednesday. Wednesday’s scheduled garbage pickup will be on Thursday. Thursday’s scheduled garbage pickup will be on Friday, and Friday’s scheduled garbage pickup will be on Saturday.

Recycling is on its regular schedule.
