40th celebration of life and legacy of Martin Luther King set for Thursday

The  Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be celebrated Thursday  in the 40th annual community event at the Central Library on Lafayette Square.

The hour-long event will begin at noon and among those participating will be the Buffalo’s Colored Musicians Club, Differential Flava Crew and Yasmin Young of WBLK. Clifford Bell will be master of ceremonies.

The celebration is free and open to the public.
