A Hertel Avenue man was stabbed in the thigh with a box cutter on Buffalo's West Side Tuesday night, according to a Buffalo police report.
The 24-year-old victim told police he and another man were sitting in a parked vehicle near Niagara Street and Massachusetts Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. when two men approached them. The conversation turned into an argument and then one of the assailants punched the victim while he was still in the vehicle, according to the report.
The victim got out and was then stabbed in the thigh, a wound that required stitches. The other man who was in the car, a 20-year-old Hoyt Street resident, was cut in the chest and was treated at the scene.
