The Sabres earned rave reviews for their Winter Classic jerseys. The ones used in the game are up for bid.
The players' jerseys are being auctioned off at Auction.NHL.com, with proceeds to benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation. The bidding opened at noon Monday and will run until 9 p.m. Jan. 14.
As of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the highest bid was for Jack Eichel's jersey at $1,275. The lowest price was $275 for the jerseys belonging to Jacob Josefson and Scott Wilson. The Wilson sweater falls into the category of "team issued" rather than "game worn" because he was a healthy scratch for Monday's Winter Classic.
