Perks Cafe has opened a second location, on the ground floor of the Sidway Building.
The fast-casual restaurant's vibe and menu are similar to those at its restaurant at 448 Elmwood Ave. It serves breakfast all day, salads, wraps and sandwiches; including vegan and gluten-free options. It will also offer takeout. Its target audience is the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, the Theatre District and the surrounding neighborhood, the company said.
The Main Street location will also serve as a hub for Perks' growing catering business.
The restaurant occupies the former Kaydara Noodle Bar at the corner of Goodell Street, which expects to open another location elsewhere in the city.
