A 63-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday while he was crossing Clinton Street, Cheektowaga Police reported.
The accident occurred around 1 a.m. just east of South Rossler Avenue, police said.
The man is a resident of West Seneca, police said, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police described the driver as a 20-year-old woman from West Seneca. She was driving a 2017 Jeep Compass westbound on Clinton.
The names of the victim and driver will be released Monday pending notification of family members.
No charges are pending, police said. The accident is currently under investigation by the Cheektowaga Police Accident Investigation Unit.
