Buffalo firefighters battled a second-alarm blaze in freezing conditions at a vacant house on Jones Street between Clinton and Fleming streets overnight, fire officials said.
The fire was reported at 2:40 a.m. at 43 Jones Street.
The blaze caused $105,000 in damage to the house.
The cause was under investigation.
It was about 6 degrees with a wind chill factor of minus 8 while the firefighters were on the scene of the fire.
