A Fredonia man was under arrest Saturday night after allegedly frightening another driver whom he was accused of stalking and threatening with his vehicle.
The victim called the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office shortly before 9 p.m. while driving on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret to report that someone was following them in another car and driving in a reckless manner.
Deputies determined that Jonathan Cavero-Santiago, 33, was deliberately following the caller and trying to force the other person's car off the road. A one point he also allegedly drove head-on toward the other vehicle.
Cavero-Santiago was arraigned in Town of Pomfret Court on the charges of reckless endangerment in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child and stalking in the fourth degree, and was remanded to jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.
