The driver of an SUV that crashed with a U.S. Postal Service truck Friday morning on Bailey Avenue was taken to Erie County Medical Center, then given a ticket for driving with a suspended license, Buffalo police said.
The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. in the 500 block of Bailey, in the Seneca-Babcock section of Buffalo.
Buffalo police accident investigators said the postal truck was headed north when it was struck by a Chevy SUV that was southbound.
The driver of the SUV, identified by police as a 27-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The icy conditions Friday may have contributed to the crash, police said.
