A downstate human resources outsourcing firm with an office in Buffalo has relocated its Western New York Division office to Williamsville because it needed more space to accommodate its growth.
The move by Alcott HR of Farmingdale, N.Y., to 1780 Wehrle Drive marks the second relocation in less than six years for the local office of the Farmingdale, N.Y.-based firm, which also has offices in Manhattan and in Europe. The Buffalo-area office, which opened in 1991, handles a diverse client base of manufacturing, distribution and service providers, including companies from Canada and Latin America establishing a U.S. presence here.
“We have been making continuous strides in the past two and a half decades, adding new clients across the region at a steady pace," said Alcott Vice President of Sales John Bradley, who oversees the Western New York office. "We recognized the need to accommodate an even larger staff as we continue to expand our client base.”
Alcott, which was founded in 1987 to fill a need for engineers, says it's the state's oldest "professional employer organization." The company manages human resources, payroll processing, training, development, employee benefits, tax administration, regulatory compliance and other risk management matters for clients.
