Cornerback E.J. Gaines remains day-to-day with a knee injury suffered against the Miami Dolphins and will not practice Wednesday as the Bills begin preparations for the New England Patriots, coach Sean McDermott said.
Receivers Kelvin Benjamin (knee) and Andre Holmes (neck), tight end Nick O'Leary (back) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (groin) also won't practice. Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander was given a rest day.
Tight end Charles Clay (knee), running back LeSean McCoy (knee), guard Jon Miller (ankle) and wide receiver Deonte Thompson (back) were listed as limited.
Quarterback Nathan Peterman is out of the concussion protocol and was a full participant.
Defensive back and special-teamer Colt Anderson returned to practice after a broken forearm.
