Bills-Dolphins TV rating is second highest of the season

The Buffalo Bills' 24-16 victory over the Miami Dolphins Sunday had the second-highest TV rating of the season.

The game had a 42.2 rating on WIVB-TV (Channel 4), the local CBS affiliate.

The Bills' 13-7 victory over Indianapolis in the snow a week earlier is the season's highest at 46.7.

For the 2017 season, the Bills are averaging a 37.1 rating, down from a 38.9 at this point in the 2016 season.

However, with the Bills final two games against New England and Miami having playoff implications, the ratings for the season are likely to improve and may even catch up with the final 2016 results.
