Earlier in the Buffalo Bills’ season, a popular tailgating lot along Southwestern Boulevard in Orchard Park was for sale. The property, at the corner of California Road and just a couple minutes’ walk from New Era Field, had been on the market for $375,000.
On Sunday, half-buried in the snow, a sign indicated that the property has been sold.
Thomas J. Johnson Realty, whose website listed the property, described the eight-acre property as “zoned for business” with “incredible visibility and immediate development potential.”
Fans have been paying $20 to park at the lot this year.
If the property is developed in the future, its status as a tailgating haven may be thrown into question.
