What to watch for Friday

1. Boys basketball - ADPRO Public/Private Challenge at St. Mary's of Lancaster

The three-day, 11-game event continues with another three games today. The headliner includes the showcase hosts.

  • Cheektowaga vs. St. Joe's, 5 p.m.
  • Newfane vs. Nichols, 6:30 p.m.
  • Lancaster vs. St. Mary's of Lancaster, 8 p.m.

2. Girls hockey - Amherst/Sweet Home/Clarence vs. Frontier/Lake Shore/Orchard Park, 4 p.m.

CASH (4-1) and FLOP (4-1) play in a rescheduled game from earlier this season at the Northtown Center. Both teams suffered their lone loss against Monsignor Martin.

3. Girls basketball - Clarence at Jamestown, 7:30 p.m.

The Red Devils feature one of the top frontcourts in Western New York with Ella Rose Eckert and Carly Reynolds. Katelynn Bennett, Allison Stockwell and Macey Lundmark are among the eight returning players for the Red Raiders.

4. Boys hockey - Kenmore West vs. West Seneca West, 7 p.m.

West Seneca West, ranked fourth in the first Division II rankings of the season, host Kenmore West this evening at the West Seneca Ice Rink.

St. Joe's, Williamsville East No. 1 in first state boys hockey rankings

5. Wrestling - ECIC Championships at Starpoint, 4 p.m.

Twenty-four schools and more than 300 wrestlers compete in the first day of the two-day meet. Wrestling starts tomorrow at 9 a.m.
