Watch: 'Madden NFL 18' glitch eerily echoes Gronkowski's hit on White

The September 2017 video of a "Madden NFL 18" glitch that caused Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski to spike former Browns cornerback Joe Haden resurfaced on social media recently after people noticed similarities between the video game simulation and "the dirty play" that earned Gronkowski a one-game suspension.

Gronkowski hit Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White after a fourth-quarter interception when the Bills played the Patriots on Dec. 4 at New Era Field.

Former NFL linebacker Ray Lewis called the hit "one of the worst plays I've probably ever seen," while Fox Sports analyst Dean Blandino said Gronkowski should have been ejected from the game.
