3 face gun charges after Buffalo traffic stop

Three people face weapon possession charges after police found a loaded handgun during a traffic stop on Genesee Street on Tuesday morning, according to a Buffalo police report.

Keoyna Scott-Harris, 22, of Buffalo, was pulled over at about 2:30 a.m. on the 1100 block of Genesee, just east of Martin Luther King Jr. Park, for having an inadequate license plate lamp, according to the report. Scott-Harris was found to have a suspended driver's license. Police found a .380-caliber handgun in a rear door during an inventory of the vehicle before it was towed.

Passengers Ismat I. Hassan, 19, and Jairus Kedzierski, 20, also of Buffalo, were also arrested. Each was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
