Not only did the Miami Dolphins beat the New England Patriots, Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry added insult to injury.
After his second touchdown Monday night, Landry made a motion as if he was trying to resuscitate the ball, but maybe not exactly.
He appeared to be ... deflating the ball. And, well, you know about the Patriots and deflating.
“I’m taking the air out the ball!” Landry said, according to the Miami Herald. “I’m deflating it!”
Landry said it was a reference to a song by Migo that was barely in the locker room after the game. The song includes the line: Take the air out the ball.
“This song right here,” Landry said. “Take the air out the ball. Just so I can flex. This song right here! I’m not going to say the rest because you all are going to take that out of context again.”
