West Seneca man charged with striking Holland home with shotgun blast

A West Seneca man has been charged with hitting a home in Holland with a shotgun blast, according to the Erie County Sheriff's Office.

The incident happened at about 11 a.m. Sunday, the Sheriff's Office said. A person living on South Main Street described hearing a loud noise and seeing a metal slug on their kitchen floor, deputies said.

Deputies followed footprints in a nearby field to a home on South Main Street where they found three individuals, one of whom admitted firing multiple shots. Authorities issued tickets to Lukas Cetkovic, 23, charging him with reckless endangerment and reckless endangerment of property.

The Sheriff's Office declined to say if investigators know why the gunshot was fired or whether the home was targeted. Cetkovic may face additional charges from the Department of Environmental Conservation, Sheriff's Office spokesman Scott Zylka said.
