Driver killed in Wyoming County crash

A 20-year-old Wyoming County man was killed in a collision Sunday morning on Perry Road in the Town of Sheldon, New York State Police said.

Alex M. Dedoszak, of Java, was driving east at about 11:45 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve between Humphrey and Humbert roads and crossed into an oncoming lane, colliding with another vehicle, police said. Dedoszak was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities did not identify the driver of the other vehicle or say whether that person was injured.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.
