NIAGARA FALLS — A Pine Avenue liquor store sustained over $1,000 worth of damage Saturday morning after it was struck with several gunshots, police said.
Police received a report of shots fired in the 2900 block of Pine Avenue just before 1 a.m. Saturday, but it wasn't until 10 a.m. that any evidence was discovered. A worker at Cameron Liquor and Wine reported finding the front door and a window to the store had been shot out. Police then located nine spent shell casings on the sidewalk outside the store, and additional bullet holes in the exterior of the building.
