Man accused of slashing victim's face with knife at 7-Eleven

A Buffalo man was charged with second-degree assault after he allegedly used a knife to slash another man in the face inside a 7-Eleven on Main Street in Buffalo early Saturday morning.

Buffalo police responded to a "customer trouble" call at 2:20 a.m. Saturday at a 7-Eleven at 3211 Main St. and found a man had been severely cut in the face.

Edward Anderson, 44, of Winspear Avenue, was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
