Here's today's question:
78. The Bills have only played two tie games since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. The first was against the Baltimore Colts on Nov. 15, 1970, a game that ended up 17-17. Who was the Bills' field goal kicker that tied the game in the fourth quarter?
Scroll down ...
A. Grant Guthrie.
His 36-yard field goal tied the game at 17 and that's how it ended despite the Bills having a 14-0 lead in the second quarter. The Colts entered the game 7-1 and the Bills 3-5. That was the last non-loss of the season for the Bills, they dropped their last five games to end up 3-10-1.
