Letters: Today’s moral climate has roots in earlier decades

Today’s moral climate has roots in earlier decades

Let me see if I’ve got this right: the ’60s and ’70s were full of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The sexual revolution was at its peak. Free love, free speech and freedom from the constraints of God were the rally cries of the day. The rebel in us shacked up, hooked up and lived it up to the max with anyone who was under the influence of anything. Throw in no-fault divorce, abortion on demand and the destruction of the family, along with a heavy dose of pornography, and guess what you’ve got? ... that’s right, today.

Are you still wondering why some things never change?
