Pedestrian struck by car on E. Delavan in serious condition

A pedestrian was seriously injured Friday night when he was struck by a car at East Delavan and Bailey avenues, said Buffalo police accident investigators.

The accident occurred just after 11 p.m. when the man ran into the street and was struck by the vehicle traveling westbound on East Delavan, according to police.

The man, whom police have not been able to identify, was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he is listed in serious condition.

No charges have been filed against the male driver at this time, police said.
