The Patriots went with a walk-through type of practice today instead of a normal session, and quarterback Tom Brady was back on the field, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
Brady was a nonparticipant in practice on Wednesday.
Despite the lighter practice, wideout Chris Hogan (shoulder) was absent. Reiss wrote "Hogan's absence could be viewed as an indication that he is at least one more week away from returning to action."
Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon was not seen by reporters, meaning he earned a "did not practice" designation. Cannon is nursing an ankle injury.
Also on the Patriots injury front — linebacker Trevor Reilly (concussions) and swing tackle LaAdrian Waddle (ankle) were present at practice after neither saw the field during Wednesday's practice session.
The following players were officially listed as "limited" — Brady, Reilly, Waddle, Danny Amendola, David Andrew, Marquis Flowers, Trey Flowers, Eric Rowe, Kyle Van Noy, and Matthew Slater.
