The big snow seems to be holding off, but at least hot buttered rum is back on the menu at Tony Rome's Globe Hotel in East Aurora.
The traditional warming drink can be found at the restaurant, 711 E. Main St., until the end of January.
"We use a batter made from butter, white sugar, brown sugar and melted French vanilla ice cream," said Tara Woynton, front of house supervisor. "The batter is heated and served with or without rum and topped with nutmeg."
The hot and creamy drink is available for $5 regular, $6.50 for call liquor, and $4 without alcohol.
