University at Buffalo wide receiver Anthony Johnson and linebacker Khalil Hodge were named to the All-Mid American Conference first team, the league announced Wednesday.
UB defensive end Demone Harris was named to the second team; and center James O’Hagan and defensive end Chuck Harris were named to the third team.
Johnson had a school-record 14 touchdowns to rank second in the nation. He also ranks second with 1,356 receiving yards. His six games of 140 or more receiving yards is tops in the country.
Hodge led the MAC with 154 tackles and is ranked second nationally. He was named to the All-MAC second team last year.
Harris leads UB in tackles for loss with 9.5 and sacks with five.
O’Hagan was named third team for the second consecutive season and has been an anchor of the offensive line. Harris is third on the team with 73 tackles and has seven tackles for loss and four sacks.
