New England faced Alex Smith in Week One, and he was sacked three times en route to a five-carry, three-yard performance.
In Week Four, Cam Newton rushed eight times for 44 yards and was the quarterback who scored the touchdown against the Patriots defense.
Taylor currently has 302 rushing yards on 66 carries (4.6 yards per carry) with three rushing scores this season. In his last four appearances, he's carried the ball 22 times for 127 with two touchdowns on the ground.
