I really enjoyed the Nov. 2 article “Student rocketeers have a blast at regional contest” by Sarah Crawford, NeXt Correspondent.
As a former technical teacher at the high school and university levels and one who built kit rockets when our children were growing up Sarah did a great job.
It must have been a fun day to attend the Moog Regional Rocketry Challenge held at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo. Thanks go to Moog for arranging the competition and working with our future rocket and technical leaders. Sure would like to attend the next competition.
This is a great hands-on learning experience involving design, math, science, flying, weather and much more. Sarah, you did a
great reporting job, thanks.
