Eric Wood knocks off 2-time champ Incognito in Thanksgiving weight gain challenge

It came down to the wire, but Eric Wood knocked off the champ by a few forkfuls.

The Buffalo Bills' center has claimed victory over his teammates in his annual Thanksgiving weight gain competition.

Wood apparently eked out the win over fellow offensive linemen Richie Incognito and Ryan Groy, Wood posted on Twitter.

Incognito was the reigning two-time champ, even though last year he proclaimed he was bowing out on top after winning his first title, saying he gained too much weight in the 2015 competition.

The Bills' guard – who gained a record-setting 15 pounds two years ago and 9.4 pounds  last year – seemed raring to go early Thursday afternoon.

There was no word on the total weight each participant gained on Thursday.

Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood's charity foundation hosted its annual Flights and Bites fundraiser on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, in Big Ditch Brewing Company.
