KORYTKOWSKI - Henry Henry Korytkowski died peacefully at age 91 on November 18, 2017 in Collierville, TN following a brief illness. He was born on September 8, 1926 in Buffalo, NY to Maryan and Mary (Szpajcher) Korytkowski. He married Dolores Michalek in 1948 in Buffalo where they lived until 1969 when they moved to Rochester, NY. Henry served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. After The War, he worked at Cornell Aeronautical Labs in Buffalo, NY where he was involved in aircraft development. He eventually worked as an electrical engineer with Kodak in Rochester, NY and several European countries. He obtained five patents for his contributions to aeronautic and medical device development. He retired at age 85 from Imaginant, Inc. in Rochester, NY before moving to Memphis, TN to live with his son, Paul (Lorrie Hunold). Henry is survived by his children Mary (Bruce Herschlag) (Pittsburgh, PA); Paul, Susan (Richard Knapp) (Washington, DC), Jane Charleton (Tim Gellstad) (Nashville, TN), Anne (Michael Pistacchio) (Raleigh, NC), and Michael (Darlene Fee) (Rochester, NY); his grandchildren Gregory (Vanessa Barnett-Loro) (Durham, NC), Jillian Herschlag (Pittsburgh, PA), Traci (Alec Porzel) (Memphis, TN), Ashley (Shaun Sanislo) (Park City, UT), Jackson and Michael Knapp (Washington, DC), Luke Charleton (Amanda Ely) (Cincinnati, OH), Joseph (Charleston, SC), Nicholas Pistacchio (Raleigh, NC), Aaron, Paul, and Tyler Korytkowski (Rochester, NY); great-grandchildren Hartley, Christian, Lauren, Kate, Chloe Porzel, Finnley, Oakley, Ajay Sanislo, and Bennett Charleton; his wife Dolores, sister Rita Wylupski, son Peter, and great-grandson Henry preceded him in death. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, TN at 12 Noon.
