Free agent cornerback Darrelle Revis has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced Wednesday.
The Chiefs have not announced whether Revis will dress Sunday against the Bills.
“Darrelle is a proven player in this league and we are excited to add him to our secondary,” Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said in a statement. “He’s had a Hall of Fame career and his leadership and playing experience will be valuable to our defense.”
“We’re excited to add Darrelle to the roster,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. “He has experience and familiarity with Bob Sutton’s defense, he’s a team guy and we feel like a player of his caliber can help our football team.”
Revis, 32, a seven-time Pro Bowler, has not played this season after spending the last two years in his second stint with the New York Jets. Revis played with the Jets from 2007-12, Tampa Bay in 2013 and won a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2014 before returning to the Jets.
