Community Beer Works (15 Lafayette Ave.) will hold a Small Business Saturday event on Nov. 25. The brewery will release its new Alpaca Sweater beer, a variant on its Alpaca Porter brewed with holiday spices. It will also bring back its “everything but the pants” deal, including a shirt, socks, sweatshirt and beanie packaged in a Community Beer Works branded tote bag, all for $60.
Other items for sale include the brewery’s first holiday sweater, as well as bottles of 2016 barrel-aged Pantomime Horse adambier ($15), 2016 Heatrays barleywine ($12), and 2017 Heatrays ($10). Customers can purchase all three bottles for $30. Call 759-4677.
Rusty Nickel Brewing Company (4350 Seneca St., West Seneca) also has Small Business Saturday specials on Nov. 25. With every alcoholic beverage purchase, customers will receive $5 off of a ticket to the brewery’s New Year’s Eve party.

Flying Bison Brewing Company (840 Seneca St.) will host Essex St. Pub for a pop-up lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 29. The pub will bring its smoker to the brewery to smoke, carve and serve Essex Weck sandwiches, featuring house-smoked brisket with smokey au jus and horseradish on a kimmelweck roll. 12 Gates Brewing Company (80 Earhart Drive, East Amherst) has released its newest beer, Common Reactor. The 4.1 percent ABV beer is a darker version of a traditional cream ale, known as a Kentucky Common. The beer features a light and refreshing body, with a smooth but subtly grainy finish for a very drinkable beer. Call 906-6600.
