Niagara Falls woman pleads guilty in drug-related crashes that injured 2

A Niagara Falls woman admitted Monday that she was driving under the influence of cocaine and marijuana when she seriously injured two women in a pair of auto accidents in the 6600 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard May 25.

Karen T. Sebring, 42, of 26th Street, could go to prison for as long as four years for two counts of vehicular assault and one count of impaired driving. State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. scheduled sentencing for Jan. 23.

Niagara County Assistant District Attorney Theodore A. Brenner said Sebring's car rear-ended another woman's auto at a red light, injuring that driver. Sebring then tried to back away but crossed the road and struck a pedestrian waiting at a bus stop, pinning her against a dumpster.
