Three Bandits home games and one road game will be available to watch for free through Twitter as part of the National Lacrosse League's Game of the Week series.
The Bandits will be highlighted in the first week of the season, as the opener against Toronto on Dec. 8 kicks off the Twitter slate. Also on the schedule is Jan. 6 vs. Calgary, Jan. 19 at Saskatchewan and Apr. 21 vs. Toronto.
The NLL started streaming games on the social media site last season as part of the league's plan to improve its digital presence.
“Last year’s groundbreaking broadcast partnership with Twitter was historic and unlocked the in-arena experience featuring the best players in the world and high energy, nonstop game action to an unprecedented number of viewers," NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz said in a statement. "The future of the sports viewing experience is digital, and we aim to build upon our broadcast by enhancing the fan experience not only by making the game more accessible to audiences, but also enable them to converse with others as well."
The remaining 14 regular-season Bandits games are available online through the league's streaming platform, NLL.tv. A Subscription to watch one team is $24.95, while you can watch every game for $34.95.
