Don Paul's updated Bills-Saints forecast: Wear layers, rain gear not required

As of Saturday afternoon, here is Don Paul's somewhat improved look at the weather for Sunday's Bills-Saints game at New Era Field.

TAILGATE FORECAST: Mostly cloudy with a cold start, but not much wind chill. 8 a.m.: Temperatures of 30-32, rising to near 40 by midday.

GAME TEMPERATURE: 41-44.

WIND: S/SE: 7-13, producing some minor wind chill with only a small effect on the passing/kicking game.

PRECIPITATION: None prior to or during the game, except for a remote chance of a few sprinkles near the end of the game.  Saturday's models have slowed the advance of any precipitation.

FORECAST: Mostly cloudy and seasonably cold. High: 41-44.

WHAT TO WEAR: Several layers of warm clothing. Not midwinter, but a bit on the raw side. Rain gear appears unnecessary.
