More moves on D: Redmond up, Tennyson a question mark

The Sabres have called up Zach Redmond from Rochester and it appears it's because they have yet another injury on defense.

Matt Tennyson was drilled on the foot by a Jack Eichel shot in practice on Monday and came on to the ice at KeyBank Center today to test the foot prior to the morning skate. He did not stay long, leaving before the team began its actual workout, and then returned again to test the foot further.

He is thus a question mark for tonight's game against the Washington Capitals. The Sabres are already missing Rasmus Ristolainen, Nathan Beaulieu, Zach Bogosian and Josh Gorges from their defense, although Gorges and Beaulieu returned to skate with their teammates today.

Stay tuned for updates from coach Phil Housley after the skate.
