The Buffalo Bills returned to practice Monday to begin preparations for a home game against the New Orleans Saints.
Zay Jones will not practice Monday and coach Sean McDermott said he is day to day with a knee injury suffered against the Jets.
McDermott said Jones has made progress already and is "moving in the right direction."
Charles Clay, who has been sidelined after knee surgery since Week 5, also will not practice. E.J. Gaines, out with a groin injury since Week 7, also will not practice. McDermott said both are day to day.
The Bills also announced a practice squad transaction as the team signed running back Marcus Murphy and released guard Will Pericak.
