Four people were injured Saturday night when a Buffalo Police Department Tahoe was struck by another vehicle while responding to a call.
BPD spokesman Michael DeGeorge reported that the marked police SUV was traveling east on Seneca Street with lights on just before 7:30 p.m. when it was struck by a car traveling north on Bailey Avenue. The Tahoe spun around from the impact and landed on the hood of a BMW that was stopped for the light on Seneca.
The BMW then struck another vehicle stopped at the light.
The police officer driving the Tahoe and three others sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Erie County Medical Center.
No charges have been filed at this time.
