A Delta Air Lines plane with 95 persons on board landed safely at Buffalo Niagara International Airport shortly after noon Sunday after being diverted here because of mechanical problems.
Several ambulances were sent to the airport to meet Flight 878 from Hartford, Conn., to Minneapolis, but no injuries were reported, according to a dispatcher for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority police.
NFTA spokeswoman Helen Tederous said the problem was a loss of cabin pressure. The plane, an Airbus A319, left Bradley International Airport in Hartford two hours late, according to the Delta website. The flight was scheduled to last two hours and 55 minutes.
Tederous said Delta provided another plane to take the passengers onward to Minneapolis Sunday afternoon.
