Cleveland Hill's Majerowski earns PT Football Player of the Week honor

The Prep Talk Football Player of the Week is Ryan Majerowski of Cleveland Hill.

The versatile fullback and linebacker rushed seven times for 207 yards, two touchdowns and made six tackles on defense during the Golden Eagles' 42-16 triumph over Southwestern in the Section VI Class C championship game.

Majerowski's first touchdown, a 99-yard dash, broke the Section VI record for longest touchdown run in a championship game. He also had a 76-yard TD as he helped fuel an Eagles ground game that finished with 392 yards.

In order to be considered for the honor, candidates must be among the Connolly Cup/ADPRO Sports top performers for the week.
